Hi everyone! I registered last night and have been itching to start posting but couldn't until just now! I see lots of familiar faces (waves), but for those who don't know me I'm from Brisbane (in Australia), and I have a 15mth old son who was born at home in water, and has never been jabbed :D I still have the CO form waiting to be signed, kinda gearing up for that visit (not sure what to expect!).

Aside from being a sahm I do volunteer work by doing admin on Joyous Birth (http://joyousbirth.info/) (homebirth forum), and being the national convenor for Joyous Learning (http://joyouslearning.info/) (unschooling forum). Both sites are pro-attachment parenting, pro-term & extended breastfeeding, anti-vax, etc. All that crunchy stuff :) So it's great to see a forum with similar foundations aiming to educate about vaccinations.

And on top of all that I'm studying to become a homebirth doula, and next year I begin my course to become a lactation counsellor :) So that's me in a nutshell. I'm off to explore the forums now ;)

Better get a wiggle on then. I think you're supposed to submit that form before your child turns 18 months or 2 years old. Can't remember which. And you are paid the allowance in full when your child reaches 18 months or two years old ( cant remember which ).

Hi Ayla. I never did end up getting the CO signed for my 1st... I assume I've missed out on the blackmail $$$'s... should probably do it for No. 2 as it would come in handy these days!!

Nice to see you here :)

Hi Ayla.

Nice to meet you. I am totally passionate about homebirth as well. I try and convince everyone to have one but sadly not many people tend to listen to me :) oh well.........
