HI Everyone,
I'm new here. also into anti-vxing, natural living and about to have a homebirth. I'm on some other forums too but am keeping this older username from a dog forum! Just rather keep my more mainstream forum memberships in a different name cause goodness knows what would happen if my 'mainstream' friends or worse, in-laws!! read that I was on here! no, we don't disclose!

heaven help us when they find out we're having a homebirth (they haven't asked yet, 26 weeks, fingers crossed they won't until it's "too late") but all hell would break loose if they learned F isn't vaxed.

even more hell when they found out that she had w.cough last week. (but guess who she got it from!! grandad had "bronchitis" recently!!)

I"m looking forward to joining you all, although I"ll try not to be on here too often tbh as my addictive personality could leave me here far too often.

Thanks!

Good luck keeping the important stuff under wraps.

Sort of funny. In the old days people would be trying to hide big things, like embezzlement or adultery. Nowadays people are trying to conceal homebirth plans and abstention from vaxing? Weird. Just plain weird. Whatever happened to a reasonable level of personal choice?

Hullo :) I've noticed people tend to assume you'll be going to hospital. It is easier to let them assume that. If they do ask where you're giving birth, you can say between your legs *snicker* usually that's enough to shut them up. In any case it isn't any of their business - its a personal health issue and its inappropriate for people to expect you to tell them about your personal health issues!

 quickening, that reminds of when I was on holiday in Auckland and these strangers came up to me and asked what I was having. I really couldnt be bothered talking to them so I answered "well hopefully its a baby because if its a puppy or something people will think I am weird" Probably a bit mean of me but it was very very funny.
