No, you've not stuffed up. What happens is that the system is set to register the first post. That normally takes about 15 minutes for the automated burearat in the dashboard to figure that out. In the mean time, you're not allowed to breathe. One of the reasons for this (I think... :duh: I mean, I'm techy-dummy here and learning my ropes to) is to try to clamp down on automated bots. We've pretty much got that covered with the way people have to register. The second thing is that it discourages :troll2b:.

So yes, it can be frustrating for new people because they feel :angry015: but if next time you come, you'll be just fine.

As for me, I'm not just fine. Learning all the various things I have to do to keep things safe is turning me into an :alien:

I checked the avatar you'd uploaded, and the bureaurat told me that the file had an incorrect file extension to it. So I've changed the .gif to .jpg, and I suspect it will take a while for the bureaurat to get off it's backside and recognise that ... theoretically,... the file can be accepted.

I've no idea which it doesn't work immediately, but that's the way it is.

Yup I am practically an expert on Fibro now days.. I have mine under control with a veritable RAFT of supplements and vitamins... I don't feel pharmaceuticals should be used to control fibro symptoms but I know many 'rely' on them ... anyway yus a discussion on it would be good if anyone is up for it :caffix:

ok gotcha, I thought that might have been the reason when it wouldn't accept my Hotmail email address.. so I have had to use a dead IP based one that I don't even own any more shhhh :whis:

Ok thanks for that, its odd because its a .jpeg on my computer and uploaded as such.. so the site must have changed it - its probably a bit disturbing anyhow for an avi LOL
