Hi There,
I thought I'd start a thread on hepatitis C since that is a chronic illness I have had to live with for a very long time. It affects most people to some degree or another, and usually over time one can end up with various symptoms like chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, jaundice, arthritic pains, headaches, fluctuating thyroid, becoming underweight, over bleeding, depression, blood sugar problems, and sometimes, eventually cirrhosis of the liver and/or liver cancer. There are a lot more subtle symptoms too which I won't get into right now.
Anyway, I thought I'd start this thread and try to get some positive stories from people who are coping with this illness. We shouldn't let this illness define who we are too much. It would be nice to hear positive stories of things people have been doing to make things better for themselves.
ie. Have any supplements helped you cope? What about diet? How about working with your mental attitude....has that been of use to you?
