of New Zealand. My name is Sandra and am married with two children aged 6 and almost 2. My son has had almost no vaccinations (through bullying when we lived in the UK he had the first two shots of the standard regime but no more) and my daughter is vaccination free.

We have a family history of eczema and asthma and strengthening my son's immune system is a particular interest of mine.

Wonder-full told me about this forum which I really appreciate. I'm looking forward to learning more with you all.

Hi Sandra17. Eventually, we hope this place will be chock full of information, but like Rome, it can't be built in a day :D

But may roads lead to Rome. Whatever...

Hi Sandra and welcome to the forum. :)

Hi Sandra,
I do hope this doesn't turn out to be Rome. Ancient Rome wasn't very nice--it was built on slaves in addition to not being built in a day--and modern Rome is smoggy and expensive (I bet it is fun to visit, nevertheless).

So welcome to our own private not Rome.

Hi Sandra, west coast - rome, doesnt matter :) cause its nice to have you here anyway.

Personally I would go for the coast :)

Doth one want rain, rain or more rain, or to hit ones head on stone walls whichever way you turn?

Personally, I'm not that interested in Rome. Seeing it in photos was quite enough for me. :p

And the kids could not persuade me to watch Gladiator. Yawn. (The kids said, "mother the sook").

I want neither rain nor stone walls. Today I went tramping through fresh snow with my daughter, my son-in-law, my 9 year old granddaughter and my 5 year old grandson. Luckily we all had on snowshoes. Beautiful day.
