Hello all, I am Deepali, a SAHM to a two-year-old girl. I live in Dubai now but am basically from India. I got to know Hilary through another site and she has been gracious enough to invite me to be a part of this group.

I am of the kind who asks lots of questions to the doctors when it comes to procedures, surgery etc but I must have lost my mind a wee bit when I did not question vaccines even once. Poor DD received most of the vaccines and I still carry the guilt and regret with me. Thankfully I came to my senses before she was due for the MMR and the DTaP booster. I stopped vaccinating her ever since and stood firm on my ground.

The more I read the more it sickens me when it comes to vaccines. I am happy to be at a place where I won't be judged or ridiculed for asking questions.

We co-sleep, breastfeed and are vegetarians. I am trying my green bit by reducing the trash we produce and planning to make my own cleaner etc.

Thanks

Deepali

Hi Deepali, ... I'm sure that someone here, sometime, will try to judge you. But that's good, because that's the way we learn skills to stand up for ourselves.

Hi Deepali.

I know what it is like to have regrets regarding medical treatments... However I believe that what really matters is continuing to inform ourselves on a daily basis to make more informed choices in the present and future.

Try not to be hard on yourself. :) You sound like an amazing mum!

Welcome Deepali.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

I make soap and apparently once you make soap its very easy to make all sorts of cleaners. I make soap because I want to make bubble bath that is 100% chemical free....... maybe we can put our heads together, come up with a brilliant recipe and take over the world, lol.

Thank you everyone for the welcome! Yay finally found a place where can I talk about making household cleaners and not get stared at! :giggle: The husband thinks I have lost it....wait till he hears about my plans to buy a land someplace and start my own farm.

Hi Deepali,
I've done a fair number of things I regret--but you've just got to keep backing into the future--cause you can't turn back and fix your mistakes--

Welcome!
